Gossip Grannies is a community-driven concept celebrating the wisdom, warmth, and recipes of our elders. Inspired by my love for storytelling, my fondness for older generations, and the memory of my grandmothers’ cakes, I created this project to foster connection between young and old. In its pilot phase, Gossip Grannies brings grandmothers (and grandfathers) together to bake, share recipes, sell their treats, and of course spill the neighborhood tea.
As creative director and initiator, I develop the strategy, branding, and storytelling while facilitating collaboration with community centers and volunteers. The bottlenecks at this stage are resources, logistics, and community outreach but the vision is clear: to grow beyond bake sales into events, merch, and catering, always with joy and connection at the core.
If you’re interested in supporting Gossip Grannies, I’d love to hear from you! Every helping hand, piece of advice, or spark of collaboration is warmly welcomed and deeply appreciated.
