Concept, design, and production of visual identity and educational materials for the Jimmy Nelson Foundation’s Cult-ED program, crafting engaging lessons that respect Indigenous perspectives and support learning in classrooms and museums.
The Jimmy Nelson Foundation, founded in 2016, supports cultural and educational initiatives in indigenous communities, focusing on preserving and promoting their unique heritages.
Cult-ED, the Foundation’s online education program, required a visual identity distinct from Jimmy Nelson’s artwork. The challenge was to create a fresh, engaging design that respected and highlighted Indigenous perspectives.
I developed the concept and graphic design for Cult-ED, crafting a unique visual language that diverged from Nelson’s photographic style. This design supports the program’s educational goals by emphasizing authenticity and respect.
Cult-ED not only targets children in classrooms and at home but also develops educational programs for museums. For the Palazzo Reale exhibition, we created the "Humanity Game," an interactive element that further enhanced the educational experience.
