Art direction, curation and design of a limited-edition catalogue integrating AI-generated environments with Jimmy Nelson’s photography, showcasing the art in diverse, luxurious settings.

For a limited-edition catalogue celebrating the artistry of Jimmy Nelson, I executed AI-generated environments to showcase his photography in minimal interiors. In these spaces, I digitally framed a curated selection of his archival works. As a designer, art director, and curator, I orchestrated this project into eight thematic chapters, each visually harmonized by colour and ambience, seamlessly integrating Nelson's imagery into diverse environments. From corporate offices and rustic haciendas to brutalist villas nestled in lush jungles, these AI interiors evoke a sense of luxury and dreamlike escapism. This limited print series serves a dual purpose: elevating the allure of the artworks in home settings and addressing a widespread unawareness that the images are indeed for sale. My role expanded to overseeing the production of the catalogue. The printing, performed by the Jimmy Nelson Studio's longstanding Italian partner, ensured a high-end result. However, I aimed to create more than just a beautiful brochure; "The Collection" serves as a connection tool. On one hand, it enables the studio to engage with potential art buyers, while on the other, it allows art buyers to learn and connect with cultures they may have never encountered, ultimately initiating a dialogue on our shared humanity.
